She is a professional chef and food consultant with over seventeen years of experience of food retailing, cooking in restaurants, contract catering, writing and developing menus and recipes, as well as freelance consulting.
She is an authority on all aspects of Italian food and specialises in teaching the diversity of this great cuisine, both here and in Italy.
Ursula's numerous books include Easy Italian, Truly Italian, Risotto, Bringing Italy Home, Truly Madly Pasta, and Trattoria. Her television appearances include GMTV, TVAM, Granada TV, BBC North and BBC Radio's Food Programme.
