Stevie Parle

Stevie Parle went to Ballymaloe Cookery School in Ireland when he was sixteen and has been cooking professionally ever since. He has worked in some of London's top kitchens, including The River Cafe, Moro and Petersham Nurseries.

In 2009, together with his ex-River Cafe co-chef, Joseph Trivelli, Stevie created The Moveable Kitchen, and in the same year, Stevie found a permanent home at The Dock Kitchen, his own restaurant situated in designer Tom Dixon's Portobello Docks showrooms. Stevie was named Young Chef of the Year by Observer Food Monthly magazine in 2010.

Stevie's first book, MY KITCHEN: REAL FOOD FROM NEAR AND FAR, was shortlisted for an Andre Simon Award and a Guild of Food Writers Award and he is now working on THE DOCK KITCHEN COOKBOOK, which will be published by Quadrille in 2012. Stevie also writes a weekly food column in the Saturday Telegraph Weekend section.
