Liberty
Since the 1880s Liberty has produced its iconic Art Fabrics, used for both clothing and furnishings. Arthur Lasenby Liberty trawled the world for the finest and rarest decorative objects, which he displayed in his wood-panelled emporium in London's West End. This iconic interior still provides the perfect backdrop for Liberty's archive of fabric prints.
Shopping at Liberty is an experience to savour: artful displays, exciting collections and luxe labels all add to a wonderfully eccentric atmosphere.
In 2010 Liberty was noted number one in Time Out magazine's list of London's 50 best shops. Showcasing the best of Liberty Art Fabrics, all the projects in this book have been realised and instructions written by Lucinda Ganderton, an experienced designer and craft expert.
