Laura Santtini

Much of Laura Santtini's passion for food came from her Italian grandmother as well as her parents, who launched the renowned Italian restaurant Santini in London's Belgravia. Laura's early career was in PR with Lynne Franks, then at MTV Europe, where she worked with international stars all over the world. Laura later moved to Milan then in 2002 returned to London to relaunch Santini, following her father's retirement.

Her first book Easy Tasty Italian won the Guild of Food Writers' Jeremy Round Award for Best First Book in 2010 and in the same year she translated her intense flavour combinations into an innovative and internationally successful range of food products, Laura Santtini's Spellbinding Flavours, that includes her highly acclaimed Taste #5 Umami Paste.
