Jill Dupleix

Born in Australia, Jill now lives in London, where she was The Times Cook for six years.

A self-taught cook, she is one of our most inspiring food writers. Behind her trademark simple, modern, healthy recipes lies a deep understanding and enthusiasm for good food from around the world.

Jill often appears on TV as a regular guest on Great Food Live. She also writes for Sunday Times Style and contributes regularly to delicious. magazine in Australia, the UK and The Netherlands.

Jill is the author of 14 cookbooks including Simple Food, Very Simple Food, Totally Simple Food and Good Cooking. In 2002 she received the British Cookery Journalist of the Year Award from the Guild of Food Writers and has recently been awarded the Miriam Polunin Award for Work on Healthy Eating by the Guild of Food Writers for 2008.
